The project’s objective is to strengthen sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and girls in Morocco, as well as to combat all forms of discrimination against women and girls, including gender based violence.

This project seeks to influence changes in policies, laws, services for women and girls and existing systems, as well as to change discriminatory and unjust social beliefs and practices.

The project activities include:

(1) developing a national strategy for Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and creating training modules for middle and secondary school students;

(2) conducting a study and organizing awareness and advocacy campaigns for SRHR and gender equality (GE) at the national and regional levels;

(3) entering into a partnership with religious authorities and establishing a training plan in SRHR and GE for religious counsellors and Ulemas.
