The Morocco Noor Solar Power Project was approved on September 30, 2014 for a total amount of US$519 million: US$400 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and US$119 million from the Clean Technology Fund (CTF). The project was initially named “Noor-Ouarzazate Concentrated Solar Power Project” from 2014 to 2018.
