GIZ has been working in Morocco on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) since 1975. GIZ is now taking on an increasing number of commissions in Morocco for other clients, such as the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), the Federal Foreign Office (AA), the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the European Union, and Moroccan companies.
