The Kingdom of Morocco therefore wishes to strengthen the regulatory framework of the social economy and solidarity and set up territorial SSE poles to deploy it in the regions. This will policy of erecting SSE as a strategic choice constitutes one of the responses to the socio-economic challenges of Morocco, by reconciling the principles of equity and social justice with the economic development.

The Ministry of Tourism, Crafts, Air Transport and Social Economy requests the AFD support in order to:

1) Devote a definition of SSE adapted to the context and the challenges of development, in complementarity with other public and private components of the economy national;

2) Clearly identify the entities within its scope and establish their distinctive characters;

3) Provide for public policy measures devoted to the promotion of the social and solidarity economy and the activities of the organizations that make it up and

4) Stimulate the social and solidarity economy within the regions through the establishment of territorial poles of SSE economic cooperation.

This project should unify the field of SSE, promote the actors and recognize the SSE as a sector in its own right, having a real impact on the country's development and social equity
