By registering part of the funding allocated to municipalities in a resource allocation system based on management performance criteria, the project will help improve the efficiency of public services urban areas returned to the population.

It will thus help to increase the accountability of the action of the main municipalities Moroccan with regard to the objectives set nationally through organic laws on Collectivities Territorial.

In addition, by supporting the DGCL and IGAT in strengthening their internal capacities and their technical support activities for Moroccan communities, the project will contribute to improving the management of public action and investment planning.
