The main objective of the program is the extension and improvement of performance and resilience to climate change of drinking water services in the provinces of Al Hoceima, Driouch, Nador and Taounate.

The program will make it possible to carry out sub-projects composed of drinking water infrastructure in urban and rural areas of the four provinces.

The sub-projects of the rural component will extend and / or improve access to water drinking water in more than 374 localities with more than 156,000 inhabitants.

The sub-projects of the urban component will include several types of investment in construction, extension or rehabilitation:

drinking water production units, pumping stations, supply and water supplies, tanks, leak detection equipment, electromagnetic meters and remote management equipment.

Studies and support are planned on several subjects: re-infiltration of water, operation subcontracting, evaluation of the positive economic externalities created by drinking water and sanitation services.
