The Project revolves around the following activities:

- The establishment of a date supply system and close support for cooperatives belonging to EIGs to guarantee the quantity and quality required by customers;

- Improving the main processes (purchasing and supply, management, quality control, marketing, etc.) of managing a date recovery unit of an EIG, with a view to making it competitive on the market;

- The training of three groups of players essential for the development of the sector: public supervision and advisory support institutions, professional organizations and private providers of technical and management services;

- The development of women's leadership and the involvement of young people in the sector at the level of GIEs, service cooperatives and other professional organizations.
