With the financial participation of the African Development Bank (ADB), the "PRPTC" (Project to Strengthen Production and Improve the Technical and Commercial Performance of Drinking Water) will be implemented by the Water Branch of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) with the support of the Technical Assistance that will be hired for this purpose.

This project aims to contribute to the sustainability, reinforcement, rehabilitation and extension of existing drinking water supply infrastructures to enable the populations of the various beneficiary centers to be continuously covered. The implementation of the various components of the ADB project should be accompanied by a communication plan presenting the information, awareness, dialogue, negotiation and social mobilization actions between all the stakeholders concerned, in compliance with ADB requirements and ONEE policy on the effective involvement of all these stakeholders.

The actions to be carried out will aim at improving existing public information and transparency mechanisms and strengthening consultation and participation of the concerned stakeholders, thus optimizing the delivery of ONEE services and increasing public understanding and access to information published by the office, while encouraging continuous dialogue and behavioral change in favor of water conservation.
